Thank-you for your interest in covering Delaware Speedway events.  We are excited to welcome you to the speedway and will do everything in our power to make sure you have the necessary information to cover the events and drivers at the track.

If you have any questions you are welcome to contact John Houghton at (519) 652-5068 ext 201.  To help serve you better, please follow the following steps to be accredited by the track:

Step 1: Submit a Media License Application.

The media license application is a simple form that helps us verify that you are a part of an accredited media organization and provides you with certain rights to cover Delaware Speedway events.  It can be viewed and printed here.  It ensures that we have accurate contact information for you on file and allows you to enter the facility easily once you have been approved.

Because accredited media organizations receive complementary admission to our events, it is important that we are able to verify that the licensee is representing a legitimate organization and that the correct rights are granted to the organization.

The application can be scanned and e-mailed to the track (info@delawarespeedway.com) or faxed to (519) 652-5069.

Step 2: Receive a copy of your license back from the track.

This is often sent back by e-mail and will outline the rights that have been granted to you and your media outlet such as being granted access to the infield of the race track, permission to take photos and video etc and how this media is allowed to be used.

Step 3: Pick up your media pass at the track.

Your media pass will be available for pickup at the VIP / Season Pass Holder gate at the first event you attend.  You can then sign a liability wavier at the souvenir booth to enter the infield if you wish.  During future events, you can use your media pass to enter at the competitor gate.
